Z is currently the Lighting Director and Resident Lighting Designer for PCPA - Pacific Conservatory Theatre in Santa Maria California. She has been working contiguously as a lighting designer for 20+ years. Originally from western New York, Z has traveled the country living and working in different states.
Outside of tech and teaching you can find her exploring the central coast of California with either hiking boots or a camera, and often both at the same time.
In case you are wondering, She does prefer to be called Z, there are over a million Jennifer's around. Case in point, in College- out of 40 people on her dorm floor, 8 were named Jennifer. It was from that point forward she earned the nickname Z.
